2. Welche Daten wir verarbeiten

3. Zwecke und Rechtsgrundlagen

4. Durchführung in Ägypten

B. per E-Mail an karimdre63@gmail.com.

14. Beschwerderecht

1. Controller

Karim Mohamed
Hans-Thonauer-Straße 6
80686 München
Germany
Email: karimdre63@gmail.com
Phone: +49 157 56018603

The website and the app are operated under the name “Dreamers Team”.

2. What data we process

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Booking details: the trip, package or transfer you booked, date, number of adults and children, prices, payment status and your notes
  • Hotel
  • For transfers: flight number, pickup and destination address and – optionally – a photo of your flight ticket
  • Account data: username, user ID and password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text)

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Booking and carrying out trips, packages and transfers, communicating about your booking and managing your customer account – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual steps).
  • Meeting legal obligations, in particular commercial and tax record-keeping duties – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Secure and stable operation of the website, preventing misuse, and using the external services described below – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

4. Services carried out in Egypt

Our trips and transfers take place in Egypt. To carry them out, we pass the booking data needed (e.g. name, phone number, hotel, date, pickup and destination address, flight number) to our local service team in Egypt.

There is no EU Commission adequacy decision for Egypt. The transfer takes place because it is necessary to perform the contract with you (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Payment via Stripe

Online payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. You enter your payment details directly on Stripe's payment page. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe only tells us whether and how much was paid, together with a reference to your booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. More information: stripe.com/privacy.

6. Sign-in with Google or Facebook

You can optionally sign in with your Google or Facebook account. You are then redirected to that provider. After you agree there, the provider sends us basic data such as your name and email address so we can create your account or sign you in. You can always sign up with email and password instead. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. Hosting and technical service providers

We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • Render – hosting of the website and servers. When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data such as your IP address is processed.
  • Supabase – PostgreSQL database that stores account and booking data.
  • Cloudinary – storage of uploaded files, e.g. a flight-ticket photo you choose to upload.
  • Mailgun (EU server) – sending emails, e.g. booking confirmations.

Some of these providers are based in the USA. Data is transferred to third countries only under the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

8. External fonts and script libraries

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (Google) and script and style libraries from the content delivery networks jsDelivr and npmcdn. For technical reasons this sends your IP address to the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a consistent, working presentation of the website.

9. Cookies and tracking

Technically necessary cookies. The website needs these cookies to work:

  • sessionid – keeps you signed in and stores your session (up to 2 weeks).
  • csrftoken – protects forms against misuse (cross-site request forgery).
  • django_language – remembers the language you chose.
  • dt_consent – stores your cookie choice (12 months).

Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Partner cookie affiliate_ref. If you open the website through a link containing ?ref=, we store the partner code in a cookie for 30 days. This lets us credit a booking to the partner who referred you. This cookie is set regardless of your cookie choice; we base it on our legitimate interest in settling accounts with our partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Consent. On your first visit, a notice at the bottom of the screen asks for your consent. The Meta Pixel and Google Analytics are only loaded if you choose “Accept all”. If you choose “Necessary only” or make no choice, nothing from Meta or Google is loaded. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

Meta Pixel. With your consent we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland). It reports page views, views of trip pages, the start of a booking and completed bookings (each with the trip, price and currency) to Meta, together with technical data such as your IP address and browser information. Meta sets cookies for this (e.g. _fbp). We use this data to measure how well our advertising works. Meta may link the data to your Facebook or Instagram account and may also transfer it to the USA. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Google Analytics 4. With your consent we load Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited (Dublin, Ireland). It records which pages you visit and how you use the website, plus device and browser information and your approximate location. Google sets cookies for this (e.g. _ga). The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Withdrawal and objection. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: click “Cookie-Einstellungen” (cookie settings) at the bottom of the page and choose “Necessary only”. You can object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (e.g. the partner cookie) (Art. 21 GDPR), e.g. by emailing karimdre63@gmail.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

10. Reviews

You can review a trip. We then process the name you enter, your text, your star rating and – optionally – up to two photos. We are notified by email; the photos are stored with Cloudinary. Only after our team has checked and approved the review is it shown publicly on the website, with your name and photos. You may enter just your first name instead of your full name.

The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the review (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing karimdre63@gmail.com; we will then delete the review.

11. WhatsApp

The website has links to WhatsApp (wa.me) to message us or share a trip. These are plain links: as long as you don't click them, no data is sent to WhatsApp. Only when you click does WhatsApp open (app or web), and WhatsApp Ireland Limited (a Meta company) then processes your data under its own terms.

If you message us on WhatsApp, we process your phone number, your profile name and your messages to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

12. How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists or as long as needed to carry out your booking. When you delete your account, your name, email address, phone number and login details are deleted. Booking and payment records are kept in anonymised form for as long as legally required.

13. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

You can delete your account yourself at any time: Delete account. For anything else, email us at karimdre63@gmail.com.

14. Right to lodge a complaint

You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), www.lda.bayern.de.
